About B. B. Vos
B.B. Vos was born in Teddington and grew up in Sussex. Having spent some time in local pubs and a year in Israel, he read History at King's College London. He has worked on kibbutz, served 3 years in the University of London O.T.C., attended over a hundred criminal cases at various London courts, qualified as a pensions solicitor, and now labours happily for the youth wing of the United Synagogue (est.1870). He lives in London with his wife. In his spare time, Vos is a keen amateur historian of 17th century London society, the Second World War, and most narrowly, the pirate city of Port Royal, Jamaica (1655-1692). He enjoys drawing English vernacular architecture, walking, watching war films and drinking wine.
